Our waitress, Hollie, was attentive and courteous. For the prices charged we expected the food to be above standard fare. The brussel sprouts were absolutely the best part of our meal. My salmon (at first) was dry with no sauce. When I brought it up to Hollie, she apologized and spoke to the chef. A nice lemon caper sauce was delivered and the meal was removed from our check. I ordered a med. prime rib and it was excellent but my wife ordered a med rare prime rib and it was terrible she finally said something to our waitress and the manager came over and took care of it but it's disappointing. when you chose a nice place to eat and this happens everything else was good

Let me preface my review to say that if this would have been our first visit, it would have been our last. The manager greeted us, she seated us, and then ran off. She rushed us by the dessert display without telling us about them. She told us they were shorthanded, so that might be why she was hurrying us. Her aloof manner set the tone for the evening. The hamburger and frites were fantastic. We also loved the prime rib. I love the ambiance, but was disappointed to have the television on in the large room next to where we were dining. I always try to get away from screens when dining, and up to this visit, Garrison Oak has been the place to find that kind of dining experience. Hopefully this was an isolated incident because of March Madness.

Ideal for celebrating an occasion. SUNDAY wine is 1/2 price a bottle, great value! Staff is very attentive and friendly and the food is well done. It’s a little expensive but it’s nice to treat yourself and someone special now and then.
