Expect services to take extra time as students need to check every step of their services with an instructor, but the quality of the service, in my experience, has been very good.
make sure to be clear in explaining what you what done. these are students trying to do their very best. You do your part and they can do theirs. I had 2 very successful appointments at the academy.
don't be alarmed by a long time in the chair. It is worth it.
Just make sure you know what you want and communicate good I have had a few hair coloring disasters but they will make it right just really hard on the hair
Plan for more time than you think you need.
Prepare to be there longer since they are students, but they do a good job
Gene Juarez provides knowledgeable and professional hair technicians. I love the flexibility in their schedule. I trust my hair to these aspiring beauticians.
I got lucky and got assigned to an extremely good stylist, Reese. Request, if you can, a stylist in Mod 3 or 4. They are at the end of their training. Or an "ambassador". Fact is you don't know what you're going to look like when you leave there but the two times I've been there I've been pleasantly surprised.
One of the non licensed hairdresser will do your service then have a licensed one recheck it. They'll fix it if anything needs to be redone. Very inexpensive for great service & high quality. Will def come back. 14 for haircut & 35 for color.Plz tip
