I had a great experience at Gentle Dental Deer Valley! The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful when I arrived, especially with handling my insurance. The dental assistant was quick and efficient with my x-rays, which I really appreciated—those things can be uncomfortable if they take too long. The hygienist, Misty, was kind and efficient when checking what type of cleaning I needed, and she even complimented me on my healthy gums 😊. Enjoy the friendly welcome when I enter the office. They take the time to confirm what will be done at the visit. The hygienist is great and I enjoy what the dentist has to say. I'm coming back for more treatments when required.
They act friendly to get you in, BUT they are not. They lie, they will work on teeth that they don’t really work on to charge your insurance. I had to find out the hard way and when I went to my new denstist, I found out that gentle dental said they worked on teeth they didn’t really work on! Office is dirty and super small too. Do not recommend at all!
I implore you all, choose a different dentist. Two different Gentle Dental locations, two horrible experiences. Had to repeatedly go in to fix shoddy work that should have been done correctly the first time. When I went in recently for pain, they said "oh that'll clear up in a couple days" - they were under the impression I had just had work done when in fact it had been months since I was there. Treatment plan the very first day of almost 8k. My husband had a similar one. Had a deep cleaning that cost me $500 with insurance and my teeth still feel like sandpaper. Had to go to another dentist to get them clean and polished. Oh, and they bully you into thinking you should have control over what care you get. Stay far far away.
