I was pleasantly surprised with how thorough Dr Ung was, he was honest, transparent, and so professional with my husband and I. Even tho we didn't get the best news today, we were still happy and satisfied with the answers we got. Melissa the assistant is so nice and understanding. The hygienist I saw today explained everything, she me made sure she cleaned my teeth to perfection (❤️) which I needed. I had a disappointing experience at Gentle Dental due to concerning billing practices. After receiving my proposed treatment plan, I requested billing codes to verify my insurance coverage. The treatment plan estimate indicated some of the services were not covered, but upon further investigation, I found that many of the "not covered" codes were covered by my insurance—until I noticed an added letter at the end of each code. Expectation exceeded, my appointment was on time no waiting time. Staff members are very knowledgeable and attentive, dentist very attentive and person that did my X-rays is very patient and gentle when doing my X-rays. I will definitely refer my family and friends to this location. Looking forward to my next appointment.
I generally like this office EXCEPT for the short lady in the front office. She has a terrible disposition and is easily offended when you ask her questions especially if you’ve been waiting longer than 30 minutes to be called for your appointment. If this office got rid of her and replaced her with someone who is pleasant and professional I would increase my rating. I just can’t stand people in customer service positions who act like they’re being forced to work somewhere.
