If I could give this place and their front desk associate zero stars, I would. She didn't listen to me on the phone when I called to schedule an appointment, then when I showed my reason for visiting was completely wrong and not only that she had an awful uppity attitude. Overall, not pleased. I will not be going back.

Smoke and mirrors. Was told I was paying for something but billed for something else. If you're gonna commit fraud at the very least you could charge the customer less. Oh don't forget to sign the waiver form for from the recliner in small print. Wonder what department if insurance will think.

Lead Dentist needs a Professional attitude, proper cancer screening, not being argumentative, the company as a whole is a sham! Their call center isn't even Reno! The number listed on their windows doesn't work either. I made my appointment and have their care plan and they said I missed my appointment. Called and canceled all subsequent appointments! I asked for a supervisor since they charge you $40 the missed appointment never received a callback.

Look at all the negative reviews here on Yelp. I've got two points: the lidocane injections are done very, very poorly (last time there I had a giant, egg shaped welt on my cheek for a week) and quite painful both during and after the proceedure. Second, they ABSOLUTELY gouge you with regard to cost. I've gone more than a few times and they want to overcharge you for everything, even stuff not needed. Well this is a first for me!! I need to downgrade this dentist and his practice. I've actually changed dentists because of this. This happened the second time I came to have my teeth cleaned there. The first time, I had an excellent hygienist who was thorough and pleasant. This time I had a hygienist, Jane, who was either having a bad day or who is truly terrible. She spent significantly less time cleaning my teeth than I've experienced from other practitioners. She didn't seem to know how to deal with my implants. ... read more

I went to this Gentle Dental due to its convenience as it's located next to my eye doctor. Everything was great until I realized they were charging me for my cleanings that were supposed to be free of charge through my insurance. When I questioned them about the charges they indicated that when I first started going to Gentle Dental I had periodontal disease and they could fix it. They didn't disclose that my insurance would not cover my cleanings as I once had periodontal disease and would always have to pay $175 a cleaning... read more

English is a second language for my mom and they take advantage of her situation. SHAME ON YOU. She has insurance that covers every 6 months and they deliberately schedule her cleaning every 3 months without authorization and charges her over $100 for each visit for regular cleaning. When asked about how the charges are billed accurately, the front desk receptionist is very hostile and verbally gives her the run around with invalidated & unexplainable charges. This us the worst Dental Office I have ever had the misfortune to enter. First they lied and said EVERYTHING was covered under my insurance and sent me a bill then after disputing the charges and was told the insurance paid everything Gentle Dental still won't give me my credit back. They said 2-3 weeks and it's almost 4 weeks and no check. They also said I needed thousands of dollars of dental work and when I went back to my regular dentist he said I didn't need it. This place isn't gentle. Licodain shot was applied painfully! The worst one I've ever gotten. Also the dental assistants were rough and seemingly inexperienced. Made me hate dental work until I found a better place.
