Dr. Sandman is a true surgeon. He does not provide warm and fuzzies but he is great at what he does. I look at my knee today, three years post op and can’t believe how amazing my knee looks and functions! I am able to kneel on it with all my weight on a hard surface after falling down the stairs and landing on it... breaking my patella in half on a concrete basement floor. I put my faith in Dr. Sandman and he gave me my life back! Thank you and God bless!
I have been with RVO since 1993. Dr. Sandman is excellent. The staff at RVO is excellent. Last year and this year I had total knee replacements. Very tough surgery and recovery. Dr. Sandman made this life altering process so much better. I am up and moving 6 weeks post surgery. I did not have issues like others that did not go to RVO. I cannot say enough about their care and skill. Lisa, Dr. Sandman's nurse, is wonderful, kind and has a great sense of humor. I entrusted her for knee injections.
I would highly recommend Dr. Sandman to any patient. He is very through in his explanation of the procedures that he will be doing prior and during surgery. He was and is very nice to speak to about post surgery. Also, his nurse Lisa is fantastic.

Dr Sandman sent me to physical therapy with a shoulder that was broken in three places. I complained that my shoulder was getting worse. He left the room and came back staring and silent. I left the office, got a second opinion and had to have major surgery, because the new Doctor couldn't fix it through arthroscopic surgery. Wouldn't recommend.
