Besides the George Fazio golf course at Palmetto Dunes being a beautiful, well kept, challenging course, it drains exceptionally well after a rain storm. The greens are well kept, the carts have GPS and there is also an app for your phone with even more helpful information. All the staff are always cheerful and accommodating. A special thanks to Tim. A must play course!

Round for 2 today August 20, 2024, 10:08am Course is in great shape! Pro shop could be friendlier. Amazing round today. 2 of us paired with a single, Ray. The single was from Toronto. Always fun to play with an unknown if they are engaging, Ray was. Pace of play was perfect, we only waited on 3-4 holes (minimal). Finished at 1:55pm so just under 4 hours. Greens don't move much and were quick in some spots but overall rolled great. Really enjoyed the round!

The course was very average and the fees they charge are ridiculous! They take average golf courses and charge fees that are getting out of hand. It makes me appreciate my courses in Michigan that make golf affordable for everyone!. Ok one round of golf for me and 2 of my boys almost 500 bucks! Stay away and hit the beach!

I didn't love it. Let me start by saying Palmetto Dunes is beautiful and a first class facility all the way. Everyone was professional and friendly. The courses are not cheap, I paid $150 in February when the course is not really green yet, but the greens themselves were in great shape. The carts have GPS and that is very helpful. But the course was, for me, kind of long and difficult, but somehow uninteresting. It is a par 70 and the course does not let up. There are no easy holes. To be clear, if you are a better golfer, t... read more

This course is the third best out of the 3 courses at Palmetto Dunes. The cost is the same as the other two courses which is disappointing. There are other courses to play.

As a New England golfer, I love playing Hilton Head courses due to the water views and challenging holes. The greens were very fast and the ladies tee were challenging but not intimidating. This is a great course to play at for somewhat amateur golfers. Everyone at the club is super friendly and welcoming - and as a tech loving millennial I loved the GPS enabled golf carts

The course is great, well-maintained. More importantly, Tim Ashley is a fantastic teacher. Anyone in need of a lesson should book with him. He is polite and professional; by far the greatest instructor I've had.

Thus course (and RJT) both take tee times and sales volume for granted, so badly delayed investment in the course leaves poor car paths and poor maintenance of tee boxes. greens were good. And, no on course management of slow play or inappropriate attire and loud music playing. Lack of a practice facility is another negative.

I just got off the course a couple hours ago. Tee to green, this course was in great shape. It was a great pick and worth the money. The greens and fairways were like carpets, the rough was thick but not terribly penalizing, and the sand was beautiful. All of that said, the course is not easy. The greens rolled true but gripped the ball some, and some of the holes had a lot of sand. My partner commented that the back nine felt like "Florida golf." It has a lot of water and natural penalties. Among the best kept courses I've ... read more
