Great evening but a couple of critiques. 1) Parking needs to be reevaluated. It’s not functional & actually an ongoing bottleneck. Valet should stop vehicles before they ever proceed up the entrance lane to restaurant. . 2) Nice vibe however I don’t think the many screens/monitors displaying a single fish floating helps. It’s weird & boring, in my opinion . What’s this all about? Maybe I’m missing the point.waitress food over vibe was great.,
Giana is a new modern, hip restaurant in Easton, MA. On Saturday night the place was packed and quite loud, so be ready for that. Free valet service is nice because the parking is limited. Food and drink were very good and delivered to the table quickly, but are overpriced. Dinner for two was $180 + tip. Only downside to our evening was the table. Not good, waited 45 minutes past reservation time to be seated, then was seated and waited 25 more minutes for a drink was told there was no glasses, $14 martinis were less than average, ordered 2 apps chicken pam meatballs and bacon wrapped scallops both came out before the drinks and weren’t good for $16 each frozen food at best. Wasn’t a fan of our meals. Steak and chicken were VERY overcooked. Tuna tartare was delicious as was the truffle pasta. Probably won’t return Due to feeling like I was sitting in top of the table next to us and felt crammed in like sardines.
Everything was very good but the dirty martinis are ridiculously expensive compared to regular martini!! They charge for olive juice!!! Not good
Hostess process and getting seated was awful. They need to figure out how to keep reservations on time (seated 35 minutes after reservation) and deal with the mob of people standing around waiting for a table.
The restaurant is absolutely stunning. The design and ambiance are amazing, and the service was good, but the food was just so terrible to be completely honest. The fried oyster special tasted super fishy and salty, like they were old. The steak tips were tiny and one was rare and the other well done. The dish was drowned in a watery and bland chimmichurri sauce, and the truffle fries were crazy salty. The cocktails, we tried 3 kinds, were way too sweet. The food was good, the wings weren't cooked all the way thru. As a matter of fact we ordered another and that was much the same. I also have a recommendation add a lobster roll to your menu. PLEASE
