A good "lay over" inn This hotel is very close to almost all the sites, we walked most everywhere. It was clean but old. I am a big guy and the shower was very cramped for me. Also the shower head sprayed water at such a force and angle that it was uncomfortable. The bed was cozy though. The breakfast was mediocre, luckily there are 3 restaurants next door.
GREAT STAY, CHEAP RATES, CONVENIENT LOCATION Pros: COMFORTABLE AND CONVENIENT MY WIFE AND I TOOK A MOTORCYCLE TRIP FROM LA VETA COLORADO TO GLENWOOD SPRINGS. 5 HOURS ON THE BIKE AND WE WERE READY FOR A COMFORTABLE PLACE TO RELAX. THE GLENWOOD MOTOR INN FIT OUR NEEDS PERFECTLY. THOUGH THE MOTEL IS A LITTLE BIT OLDER, IT IS VERY CHARMING. IT IS VERY CLOSE (WALKING DISTANCE) FROM DOWNTOWN (RESTAURANTS AND NIGHTLIFE) AND THE HOTSPRINGS (GREAT PLACE TO SOAK TIRED BONES). WE WILL DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN WHEN TAKING ANOTHER ROMA... read more
It's OK. Pros: Location, A/C Cons: Old bed was too springy. Location: Along the main drag, easy to find, close to adventure park. The hotel room was ok. We thought everything was kind of old, but they did have air conditioning, which was needed. The room was clean. The bed was very springy. Location was close to the Adventure park - just a short walk.
Nice vacation spot Clean room, accomodating staff, good restaurants nearby, very well located.
Close to Amtrak, clean and comfortable Pros: In addition to the close proximity to the old town, loved the wild animal themed fleece blankets. Just gave it a spark from a chain hotel. Cons: Nothing Location: Old downtown with shops, restaurants, river, hot pool facilities, hiking trails. Stayed 3 nights as a base for backpacking, coming and going from Amtrak. Tidy, comfortable, adjacent to a WONDERFUL breakfast place, easy walk to river, parks, restaurants. Considerate staff, friendly and helpful. Nothing fancy, just a good ... read more
Nice hotel Location: Great mexican restaurant across the street. Decent place for the money. Not brand new, but clean and decent. I would stay here again.
