I have had a top tier membership with this company for over 10 years. In the last year it has quickly become progressively worse. Customer service is no longer a priority for Glotan. The final straw was today. 4 people (employees) standing around and only one can check people in??? Waiting for over 10 minutes with one person to check in is not that uncommon for them anymore. I've been a member here every summer for the last 4 years. When I first joined, everything was great. As each year has passed, the spa machines and spray tan machines seem to struggle. This summer has been the worst with ALWAYS having at least 1 machine down (I have yet to go the last 2 months where everything was working). 2 things I tried to do today would not work. Horrible customer service. Cancelled several months ago and they continue to charge and make you go through hoops and bounds and drag their feet while continuing to charge and will not give any refund for lag time. Every time I try to follow up they just tell me it's in process.
Glo has a lot to offer as far as red light, tanning beds, and spray tans. The staff is really hit or miss. My membership lapsed so I only buy a one off spray tan as needed for events. Today I went in to get one and the system was down for several minutes. Understood things happen. Then when it came back up, the girl informed me since I don't have a membership.. she has to give me a tour. We have been trying to get the billing stopped for months now and get reimbursed for being over charged. They have refused to fix the problem and it is impossible to get any help. I would never recommend this business to anyone. They froze our account and continue to charge our account a monthly fee. Terrible customer service
Terrible service. Was greeted rudely- felt like I was an imposition. Took an hour and a half for one service. When I finally got an opportunity to get to a tanning bed, I was told "Oops I forgot to tell you about the law that says you have to have goggles so you are required to buy some." Seriously? I looked up the law when I got home. It actually says the tanning bed operator must provide sanitized protective eyewear. Oh - and you have to call their corporate office to cancel. They can't cancel a membership in person. Never... read more
BEWARE. Worst tanning salon in the DFW Metroplex! I was a member for 2 years, and in this time the following issues occurred: 1) My account was not set up correctly upon initiation (my email was incorrect and they created two accounts for me). This was never resolved in these 2 years. 2) Each time I went into the salon, it was always a problem for them to find the correct account because they could not figure out the software. They also told me on several occasions that the 2nd account was removed, but this was a lie. 3)... read more
Beware! Glo Tanning employees lie to customers to coerce them into signing a contract. I will never use this place again!
Customer service is slow and terrible....litterally will wait 5 -15 minutes to get checked in when nobody is there and beds are available. To put account on hold and/or cancel, you have to call a less than helpful service rep....you cant do it at the location. So they make as hard as possible....but they have no problem signing you up and taking you money. Its all too bad, nice facility and equipment.....crappy policies. Not customer focused.
