BEWARE. Worst tanning salon in the DFW Metroplex! I was a member for 2 years, and in this time the following issues occurred: 1) My account was not set up correctly upon initiation (my email was incorrect and they created two accounts for me). This was never resolved in these 2 years. 2) Each time I went into the salon, it was always a problem for them to find the correct account because they could not figure out the software. Beware! Glo Tanning employees lie to customers to coerce them into signing a contract. I will never use this place again!
Customer service is slow and terrible....litterally will wait 5 -15 minutes to get checked in when nobody is there and beds are available. To put account on hold and/or cancel, you have to call a less than helpful service rep....you cant do it at the location. So they make as hard as possible....but they have no problem signing you up and taking you money. Its all too bad, nice facility and equipment.....crappy policies. Not customer focused.
I've been a customer of this tanning salon since it was MegaTan. Probably over 10 years now. I've never been more disappointed than I have been with their service recently. In February I started going to the Keller location, the alliance location was my original salon. I went in and unfroze then refroze my account at Alliance so I could tan for a month. Their customer service is not on point. If you want to tan and go, be prepared to wait. Check in is completely unorganized. They are more interested in selling to a new client than servicing a paying client that stands before them. Several girls attempt to check you in and it's obvious the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. A M A Z I N G I totally forgot the girls names who I was greeted by tonight but they were so over the top sweet! The girl with darker hair, I'm so bad with names, greeted me the second I walked in the door, I asked her about memberships and she asked what I was looking for instead of just recommending the most expensive one. This is for the Stillwater location, shame on you for taking advantage of young college students. My daughter came in to tryout the tanning and was unhappy with her service. She came in two days later to show them and they said come back in a few days and try again. She came in a week later and tried the service again, still unhappy. I purchased a Groupon for a tanning membership at one of their facilities. I read the fine print for the order before purchasing because I had visited this facility 3 years ago for a different service and wanted to make sure my purchase would be valid. After going in person today I was told because I had used a different service (versa tan vs bed tanning) back in 2017 that counted as a 1-year membership and my Groupon would not be honored. We go in for the first time, on the free pass. I have never spray-tanned before, so I was clueless. The general manager was amazing and VERY helpful!! I also did the facial as well. All in all, everything was nice, but without the general manager helping me, I'm not sure I would have enjoyed the experience as much.
