I really liked this place. I joined it for a month before my wedding and they did not high pressure sell me or push me into a contract. It was unlimited for a month. No auto renewal. Very clean. Super nice staff.

This place is super expensive in my opinion, but the beds are very nice and the place is clean. It has a very resort-feel, and the recommendations by the staff are generally accurate, making it a great place for a tanning novice.

Being the red-headed-freckled-covered-always burning-never-tanning person that I am, I really had no business even walking into a tanning place (my dermatologist would totally agree). However, I had a 10 day beach vacation coming up and I wanted to burn before, not during the vacation if at all possible. First let me start by saying I have been tanning for over 25 years and believe I am a pretty good judge of what is not so good, good and great. When I walked in the door until I went home, I can say this is a GREAT tanning "experience". Now, for people who have been doing this for awhile, you know what I mean. To start, I wish I could give 3.5 stars but that's beside the point. I've been going to the Arapahoe and DU locations for a little over a year and I do prefer The Palms over the other available tanning salons in the Denver area (which, let's be real, there isn't any GREAT places). Good locations, always clean, nice decor, great beds - the physical aspects are all there. However, I relate it to someone who is pretty to look but not so great with the personality part. This is the nicest tanning salon I've ever been to! (And I've been to a lot in multiple cities.) Atmosphere is a HUGE thing for me in all aspects of my life. I truly appreciate when a business goes above and beyond the norm to create a unique and awesome experience. They don't have to make each of the tanning booths look like a resort postcard, but they did. They don't have to be nice and respectful to every customer, but they are. I couldn't believe how much I liked this spot! I was feeling a little bit of shell shock from being treated terribly at 'At the Beach' so I didn't know what to think about Palms. But I was very pleasantly surprised. I wasn't pressured into buying a package and the girl working the counter answered all of my questions and helped me out. I was with the Palms Castle Rock for over a year and loved going in there every time!! It makes for such a personal experience when they always know your name and remember little things. About a year ago I moved down to Denver and sadly had to leave my Castle Rock Palms.
