My husband and I celebrated my birthday at Golden Dynasty last weekend. This was the only restaurant at Tropicana that we had not visited, so we were interested in the quality of food and service compared to the others. We were seated very quickly, and the waitress was very attentive and provided exceptional service. We ordered various appetizers and ordered the Peking Duck. All of the food was fresh and delicious. We will definitely make another trip to this restaurant.
As always the food and service is excellent. You really feel special while you are there. Every course, every drink is served perfectly. Steven makes sure everyone is well taken care of.
My wife and I went to Golden Dynasty on Friday, October 30th. First the good news - The servers were super attentive and the food was fantastic (seafood special and appetizer special - very good). The bad news is this seemed like a cleaned up take out restaurant - It was way too bright (we like atmosphere) and just felt cramped. I've been going to Tropicana for nearly twenty years, and for many of those, I've always wanted to go to Golden Dynasty. The hours the restaurant keeps kept me from visiting for a long time, but finally my wife and I made it happen, and we couldn't have been happier. Worth every penny for the quality of the meal, the friendliness of the staff, and how INCREDIBLY quiet the place was, considering it is surrounded by slot machines. Will definitely go again.
The wonton soup was absolutely tasteless. Both of us could not eat it. I told the waiter he should taste it. Dumpling appetizer not served with sauce. The seafood entre that my friend ordered was loaded with shrimp but no kind of sauce. It was really dry. She brought it home and cooked it with soy sauce to make it eatable. Friendly staff. Great food at a reasonable price. Cozy and elegant atmosphere.
The service is terrific. The attention to details can not be matched. This is our second time here and it won't be our last. From Steven the host to all the servers, they made us feel welcome and made sure we were pleased with everything. Food is unbelievable. Only problem is deciding what to order.
Golden Dynasty has become a regular dining out experience for us. The staff knows us by this time, and the service is impeccable. The restaurant's host displays an excellent manner, a friendly attitude, and a sense of fine taste.
