In 1992, Atlanta flooring experts Marc Seltzer (father; co-owner) and Jason Seltzer (son; co-owner) founded an Atlanta flooring company Great American Floors. Jason had recently returned home from The University of Georgia and Marc was in the planning stage of changing his two year old company, American Carpet Distributors, into a full service flooring company. Good experience and results Great American Floors did a beautiful job installing new wood floors as well as refinishing our old floors, they did extras that make the difference in the look of the floors, and were very accommodating to our schedule. And those guys can move anything!! I would recommend spending the extra cost for moving furniture.
excellent experience We recently had some work done on our hardwoods and the entire experience with Great American Floors was fantastic. Jason came out, gave us an estimate and within a week, the work was done. His guys were prompt and courteous and did a great job. All in all, it was a real pleasure working with Great American Floors and we would strongly recommend them to anyone needing work ont their floors.
Merry Christmas to me ! I am all about research and value. It takes a long time for me to purchase anything big ticket. So after finding Great American Floors on Kudzu, I made the trek into the showroom where I was greated with some very knowledgeable people who were able to answer all my questions and show my all the laminate flooring on my list. More stars please. Will someone please tell me how I can give my favorite Atlanta flooring company a truly accurate review when I'm limited to only five stars? Come on...I'd give them at least 50 stars if I could. It's just not fair. They treat my floors like royalty and my immense gratitude is unable to be fully expressed due to a numerical restraint.

Don't Go Anywhere Else After recommending Great American Floors to clients for years, I had the opportunity to personally use them. They installed new hardwoods, refinished existing ones to match the new, installed carpeting and tile. It was a top notch experience. We love our new floors! I was 100% pleased with my Great American Floors experience. Jason (one of the owners) personally came to take measurements and e-mailed me an estimate the same day (as promised). When I visited the show room to select my hardwood, Samantha was fabulous.
