Had to file complaint with NARI I hired this company based on the reviews here so would like to post my experience so this doesn't happen to someone else. Avoid this company at all costs. They were the most expensive and worst service of any company I have ever dealt with and I have done extensive remodeling projects in the past. Not A Good Choice......... Marc(owner)met with me and was very nice but follow-up on questions and quote was extremely slow. Maybe they have all the business they can handle but the inattentive service and high price were a real turn-off.

Don't understand all the rave review's I chose this company based on all the good reviews, however they haven't turned out so great. Went to their store and that was good, they were helpful and pleasant, Marc gave me a quote there and then for a carpet I liked. I arranged an appointment to have the rooms measured and left. Distance restriction? Scheduled estimate, did not receive confirmation call to verify address and time. I called them day of appt, 15 minutes before they were due to show up. Rep said that worker was on the way. Rep called back 10 minutes later to say that they had the wrong address and were 47 miles away from my address! Rep explained that they didn't realize how far I lived, they usually don't go beyond a 20 mile radius. Contractors are high turnover; results will vary We needed our floors refinished over a five day time frame. Mark was flexible in working with us, and that was nice. We chose GAF due to the pos. reviews here, however, the contractors did a quick and careless job. Chatter marks from the sander are in every room, stain was distributed unevenly, and clear coating bubbles can be seen in several areas too. it was an extremely amateurish job. Cancelling at the last minure They were suppose to come out on a Saturday morning for an estimate on flooring. Called and left a voice mail message stating that they were short staffed and would not be out. I gather they are not hurting in this economy that they can afford to treat potential customers like this.
Not recommended; Beware the fine print GAF floor refinish looked good but beware "Seller not responsible for paint touch-up" in contract. Stain was splashed in several large spots along baseboards. Attempt to resolve was met with immediate strong attitude. Automatic CC charge at finish.

Proceed with caution Our experience with the company was disappointing. After the floor was laid, we began noticing defects in workmanship. Since no post-completion inspection was forthcoming as advertised when we signed for the job, I called the company. Six days later the same crew that laid the floors arrived to make repairs, which were incomplete and short-lived. Not A Good Option Company was very unresponsive and late to give estimate. Look elsewhere; there are many options for quality work in the area - so I suggest getting someone else.
