very caring, did a quality job and offered to come back again after basement sealed for no additional charge, very knowledgeable
John is a nice guy and did a god job however the plumber who does work for him (Kevin the Plumber) Took me for thousands of dollars. If you need a plumber make sure John does not recommend Kevin the Plumber I told John about this issue, but I am not sure he believed me. If John is still working with Kevin the Plumber then John is just as guilty as Kevin is. Please be very careful.

Craig, Kevin has his own plumbing company and does not work for Green Genie. He answered the call when you had 3ft of water in the basement and needed a new sump pump and furnaces. I'm sorry to hear you had issues with the outside dig in the spring. Green Genie received no financial compensation nor do we work with Kevin. our job was to deal with flood restoration that I believe went well for your home.
They cancelled the appt at the last minute when they found out the mold had already been remediated by the current homeowner. My client had ordered a mold inspection and STILL wanted one; but when the owner of this company realized they were only inspecting, which my client was happy to pay for, they cancelled the job an hour before the appt. With no apology.

We apologize for this misunderstanding. When we spoke to the home owner and realized they did the work themselves after a previous inspection we realized that according to New York State Law we cannot be involved and explained this as courteously as possible.
The owner got directly involved to resolve two items to my satisfaction.
They responded to job opportunities quickly and showed up at work on time. But they are lousy with customer service after they got the payment. I have been waiting for 2 days for the warrantee document they promised to send me and I no longer get any response from them.

Completely incompetent.. They tore out drywall -- but only that which was convenient for them to remove. Left cloth curtains hanging with mold. Left bags of toxic trash waste inside the home ... Their product didn't restore the wood .. It damaged it, and left a white powder residue which looks like mold, all over everything.. John, the owner won't return calls .. I have to hire another company to clean and repair Green Genie mess.. Sorry I ever hired him.

This reviewer was trying to avoid paying for these services. The bank inspector came out and approved all the work and they paid in full as we did exactly what we said we would do. Their home is mold free and even though they are mad they ending up paying for the service, it was completed professionally and timely.
Duct cleaning. I wouldn't bother. I had to hire someone else to come and do it right. They offered to fix it, but I really don't think they were capable. I would not recommend.

we are sorry we fell short in meeting your expectations. By all the nice reviews we do have it is evident we work hard to satisfy our customers. In this case we came up short. We offered to come out and clean the areas we missed. The customer would rather go in another direction so we offered to rip up her check and charged her nothing. We try very hard to satisfy all our customers and I am sorry in this case we were unable.
They did not seal off the area that they were working in so a layer of saw dust covered our living room and furniture. If saw dust was all over our furniture did mold spores also get all over our furniture? Left mud tracks in the house and bathroom.
