Esther Duvall Greenleaf 8/3/23-8/18/23. These five stars are for two special people. Although many of the techs were unpleasant Aimee was a gem. Although she was crazy busy, she was always kind and always had a hug and an encouraging word for me. The other special lady I want to mention is Deede, Housekeeper lead. Not only did she get the place spotless she always had a huge hug for me and encouraging words. She always encouraged me to smile my “ million dollar smile.”

I am giving a five star review to the wonderful nurses who went above and I am giving a five star review for nurses who went above and beyond in their care for me and for helping me in situations that did not fall under their Purview as nurses. I was a victim of assault here and my last review was deleted. I was assaulted twice. We slept in co-ed halls with the doors unlocked all night. Whoever takes this down, hope you don’t have trouble sleeping at night.

My last review disappeared. I was in Greenleaf, this last time) 1/27–2/2 2024. Basically, the place was horrid, including beds, pillow cases, chairs, cold temperature, and things to do. The food was especially bad and we didn’t have coffee for days. The good part was the people; I made good friends. The staff generally did their duty, some with a better attitude than others. I was just in Greenleaf again for a week. Of course it is uncomfortable being in a psychiatric hospital but Greenleaf makes it harder. The beds are hard, the pillows and mattresses are thin, the chairs are hard. The whole place is freezing cold. The combination makes you feel sore and tired all the time. The food is disgusting, barely edible, and no coffee was served for most of the days I was there. There is very little counseling and nothing to do but watch tv or color.
