Good building is getting better I have lived in this building for many years. It was purchased a while ago and is now maintained by a property management company. They have done a lot of upgrading as well as fixing structural problems, and at times that work creates inconveniences—but most of it seems necessary. The current resident property manager (Mr. J.F.) has made projects easier to deal with. He is conscientious, communicates clearly to answer questions and provide specific information to clarify notices and plans. He ... read more

Amazing! This is currently a furnished building being converted to an unfurnished building and I was able to rent the first unfurnished studio. I absolutely love it. Our resident manager is amazing and always takes care of things instantly. As a 1920's building with newly renovated rooms it is beautiful inside, and has wonderful stainless steel appliances. All of the units have 10' ceilings and the walls are built solidly and I can never hear my neighbors, either beside me or above me. The management company takes pride in t... read more

Great Aprtnent, Better Location Russian hill is easily one of the best neighborhoods in the city. It's safe, mostly quiet, and walking distance to just about everything you would need. The down side is definitely the amount of hills you need to conquer just to go to Walgreens. The building is older, well maintained and family owned. They just recently renovated every unit to be more updated. This includes granite countertops, refinished hard wood floors, new windows; and built out bathrooms. The appliances are a bit old, esp... read more

Decent Apartment, Good Location, Great price The apartment is very basic, a little dark and cold but the neighbourhood made up for any apartment flaws (Lower Pacific Heights). Also, the place was off the street with a nice little court yard our young daughter could run around and play in. The price was right! So, in all even thought the place was kind of dingy, everything else was great.

Glendora Apts. 3yrs on... Maybe its Harvey, the resident manager, that makes this place what it is; what a character. It may be one of the more affordable studio apartment houses in the upper TL— the fire engines, the crazies, the weekend pubcrawlers, but it has been a well kept, freshly painted, and overall decent place to live. Now three years on, I'm used to the convenience of being able to get downtown or to SOMA in 5 min by bike, to the beach in 20min by bike, and to Golden Gate Park or Dogpatch just as fast. All in, I'... read more

Mariposa is Nice! My Apartment complex is Average. There's not many negative things to say about it. It's just as simple as that! It was built in the 1980s, and I can fairly say that, it's been holding it's ground. Although, it can use some remodeling to catch up with the "new aged apartments," I would rather it stay the way it is to eliminate the rent increase. The neighborhood it lovely, the residence are peaceful, respectful and awesome!

Very spacious for a studio The thing I love about this apartment is that even though it's a studio that feels more like a one bedroom because each room is separated by a wall. It's also very spacious. Even the kitchen is a decent size. Given the current price of renting an apartment in SF (my apartment would go for approx $2100 and up on the open market). After 16 years I only pay $958.19)you couldn't blast me out of here.
