I had reserved on Open Table for standard seating. Unfortunately, we were seated at a high top table which I’m not a fan of. The restaurant was fairly crowded, and a nearby table of four girlfriends were quite noisy at times, with one woman having a quite annoyingly loud cackling laugh. It just took a bit away from our experience. Food was fine and service was top notch.

The restaurant was very well designed and despite being very busy, the layout helped keep it possible to have conversation at the table. Food was great, waitress was very kind, patient, and helpful. Will come back again!

We had a great time at Grindstone on the Monon. The food was great and brought out quickly. The drinks were amazing, especially the espresso martini. And we loved the bread pudding bites. Our server was great. He was fun and had a great sense of humor. Also, he was very attentive. We will be returning very soon.
