We went here on Saturday for lunch and it was pretty quiet. I can see how it would be a really cool place to be in an evening and we will have to try it sometime. The fillet sliders and sweet potato fries were delicious

Grindstone on the Monon is well managed and led with a focus on consistent excellence in their food and really excellent management and service. Their staff and leadership is outstanding. I know this review sounds like it was written by someone connected to the restaurant but I am only a fairly frequent diner who has a choice of a lot of great restaurants but this one is special.

Glad I made reservations! Couldn't believe how busy on a Monday too! So loud, but we were there a long time and got better after 1. Happy girl.

The service was great. Location near to where our hotel was. Food was just average. Meatloaf was burned outside and mush inside. Green beans were overcooked and cold.
