We’ve been to Grindstone many times. In the past we’ve never had service like we did on this occasion. The food and restaurant itself were good - consistent with what we’ve come to expect of Grindstone. The service, however, was awful. Our server took 15 minutes to take our drink order. Then, she was very distant with our table. She focused on her other tables - even ones that were seated after us. Great place to go for prime rib, (please note it is only available Friday’s and Saturday’s.) The French onion soup is also wonderful and memorable. We had an attentive waiter despite it being a busy night.
This is a gem just off the town square in Noblesville. Great ambiance - we sat at a high-top in the bar area, and the bartender was fantastic. The food is excellent, with unique twists on classic dishes. I loved that the bar stools all have backs on them, and the high-top seats were beautiful, with modern bucket seating. Comfortable and relaxing, for sure. The standard dining area indoors looked just as comfortable, but outdoor dining is tiny so I wouldn't recommend that. Overall we enjoyed the visit. Only negatives were that our first round of water was lukewarm, and my medium well steak was a little charred and closer to to well done. The rest of the food was great, as were the drinks.
Food was excellent and our waitress too. Location of our table was in the way of everything. Latter part of dinner was quieter which made our experience better
Great food and service; comfortable atmosphere; a little loud because of the raised, open ceilings.
The menu is a lot of fried stuff, would be nice to have more fresh options available! It was also very loud and the entire place echoed so you can hear talking from all of the dining rooms. Very nice though, love the remodel!
We celebrated my husbands birthday. The server was exceptional. The food took longer than normal but the server was apologetic and discounted our meal.
Always delicious and great service! Our favorite spot to visit
