Our appetizers took longer than usual. Our friend green tomatoes had little to no tomatoes in them. Our main dishes were cold. We chose this location as it was better than the Monon location last time. I’m not sure whether they were short staffed or just too busy. We were really bummed because this is a usual “go-to” for us:(

Food was very good - breaded tenderloin w/house salad for me and fish-n-chips for hubby. Our table was right next to the host stand, so was awkward when several people waiting for a table and chilly when the door was opened.

Tonight was a family Christmas celebration. Part of our party was delayed. We called to let them know and they made the reservation change with no problem. Food was delicious as usual and everyone had a wonderful evening!

Service was good. Food was excellent. Even though it was busy, there was plenty of staff to take care of everything. The only issue, which is a personal preference, is the noise level. The entire place is hard surfaces, amplifying the noise levels making is difficult to hear and be heard. This was our 5th visit in 2 months, and the only restaurant we have been to in 4 months.

Grindstone Public House is an hour drive for us, but the experience is always so great that we are eager to drive to Noblesville for a wonderful dining experience. We have brought others along, but sometimes just like a quiet after-church breakfast to unwind and relax. The hosts and servers are wonderful, engaging, helpful and fun but never intrusive.
