Our dinners were excellent. Short ribs were tender, fish and chips very good. Everything was hot and arrived quickly. We ate upstairs. It was a bit loud, and there was quite a lot of thumping (?) which reverberated through the floor. Possibly deliveries of some sort? We came for the food and were not disappointed. Prices were fair. We will definitely return.

Brunch was great! Our server was very good, and attentive. The food came out on a timely manner. Big portions, free birthday bread pudding was a huge hit! I truly enjoy coming here for dinner, because the food is always consistently good. The waitstaff and and everyone there working, are always very friendly and accommodating.

I made reservations. They first wanted to seat us upstairs at a very tiny table for 2, that was against the wall, and had poor lighting. It was not a busy time. I asked if we could sit somewhere else. They did move us but they made us feel that l it was very inconvenient for them. I would understand if they were very busy. But it went busy and there were plenty of tables and booths available. Other than that the food was good and so were the drinks. Our server was very kind and great!

The booths are a little tight and uncomfortable but good it was good for everyone in our party

Food was good, taste wise, but was not overly hot but but not cold. Bloody Mary was tasteless but thankfully removed from bill. Server was delightful and personable. We enjoyed the experience overall as we’d never gone for brunch before. Will absolutely go back.

We are never disappointed when we dine at Grindstone. We love the building and the food and drinks are always good. The interior tends to be loud, but that is the only downside we have ever found.
