We were sat immediately upstairs when we arrived. We were sat right next to an air conditioner which had as freezing. Also bad lighting upstairs to see menus. Waiter was great. We ordered Fried Green Tomatoes which are always on point. My husband had Nashville hot chicken and fries which he enjoyed. My wedge salad was huge and good. My filet sliders both had fat in the meat. Food came out quickly for how busy they were.

We were seated at 5:30 right beside the dais as a 2-person band was setting up. We were meeting a friend who arrived about 5 minutes later and after seeing the stage, asked the hostess what time the music was to start. She was told 7:00. Almost immediately the pair started tuning up, squeaking the speakers. They started singing at 5:50. We could hardly converse.

Since 4 of us were 70 and over- we found the benches uncomfortable - I did ask for a chair - but didn’t really like the corner bar area. We sat ( all of us) in another room before and it was more pleasing for guest dining! the good was excellent , as usual- cvs oils have used refills on our coffees- the server was very nice but maybe had other tables not close to ours! We didn’t see her very much. We will definitely return!

Service was wonderful. My catfish dinner was incorrect & the fish was way undercooked but we had a pleasant time.

My wife indicated to me that her chicken was not real warm but still good. My fries were medium warm. I love your ribs but they were a little bit drier this time around but we'll still be back soon.
