Mark is extremely professional and knowledgeable. He is also concerned about the patient's needs and how to solve any hearing problems they may have. I would strongly recommend Mark to everyone who has these problems or concerns.

My new hearing aids arrived up north just before I came to Sarasota. No time to adjust them. Dr. Mark was kind enough to adjust the volume for me and to teach me about all the many features that were unfamiliar to me. In my upper 80's it took me a while to learn the new things but he was infinitely patient and even printed out several pages of instructions for me to take home. As a brand new client I am totally grateful that he took the time to do all this. Love this office.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Emily and Abby at Gulf Gate Hearing and they are wonderful!! Abby greets you with a smile when entering their suite, and Emily "knows her stuff" and is amazing! I put off getting hearing aids for a multitude of reasons.... how they would look, if they would be annoying with echoing and static, but now I wish I would have done it sooner. Emily was able to fit me with hearing aids that are comfortable and she removed any echoing and static - on the very first visit - and I can more clearly now than I have for quite some time.
By the way, they previously provided hearing aids for my 97 year old father that was in an assisted living facility. He always looked forward to Emily's visits and I appreciate her kindness and compassion.
I cannot say enough positive things about this business, and I highly recommend them for your hearing needs!

It's a pleasure to work with Mark at Gulf Gate Hearing Aid Center. He is knowledgeable, patient, and very generous with his time. Mark is not a salesman for a particular brand of hearing aids, but instead has a customer service focus, working to improve the effectiveness of the hearing aids you have or help you identify what type and brand might be best for you if new aids are needed. He seems to have very sophisticated evaluative equipment, and is able to show you, on a large screen, computer images of your ear and any abnormalities or obstructions. In my case, for example, I could see that one of my ear canals was bruised from using earbuds that were too large. It has seemed to me that many hearing aid providers, and most information about various brands on the internet, are focused primarily on selling something newer and better rather than with analyzing and diagnosing the individual needs of the consumer and presenting pros and cons. Mark, however, with his knowledge of many different brands and varieties, seems focused on meeting the hearing needs of each individual. I highly recommend him.

Finally! Being someone who has worn hearing aids for years, I cannot begin to show my gratitude for this group…from the moment you walk in, until you are completely happy with your product, to the follow up visit to make sure all is good with the hearing aids. Many, many thanks to Emily who heard my concerns and followed through to the end to ensure that I am getting the best use of my hearing aids!!! My new “go to” place when it comes to hearing! Awesome experience, Emily, my specialist went out of her way to welcome me, the first time I walked into the bright clean cheerful office. I made an appointment for the following week, again I was made to feel I was the most important person that day, too. The warm smile of Abbi, the gal that greeted me at the front door was really professional, helpful and nice, too. I did briefly meet Dr Mark, he seems genuine, educated, and friendly, as well as Emily,

I can't say I was thrilled to have to consider hearing aids at 58, but I could not be more pleased with the experience Dr. Mark Rohmann is a great guy. His staff and Abby at the front is very thorough and nice. Initially, he explained the process very relaxed and friendly. Even had a few laughs about how I thought I lost my hearing. We told a few stories and this was nice. I entered a hearing booth and had the hearing test. The digital read-out and high technology with a big screen TV revealed my results. Dr. Mark explained a few details and we came up with a plan. I came back 3 weeks later and was fitted with hearing aids... used them for 2 weeks and came back with adjustments....''sounded like i was in a tin can'' he made some adjustments, but he has a way of fine tuning the depth and volume decibels...details..that... well, make all the difference! no charge for any of these visits. All is included with the cost of the hearing aids. So happy I chose Gulf Gate Hearing!
