We spent 7 nights here over Easter and really enjoyed our stay. The bedroom for 4 people was spacious and clean with a stocked mini bar. (We were 2 adults, 2 teens) The choice of restaurants is good, with a buffet restaurant , Italian - Porto Bella, Hacienda Grill, pizza, and Mexican choices, but our favourite was Kotori, the Asian option. Great rooms and very kind staff
New rooms, spotless clean, cleanest rooms I started in, food was great- lots of choices and good quality, they had a lot of activities that were free such as kayaking, bike riding to see the cenotes on their property, beaches were beautiful, fun activities for kids, we will be coming back there.
Most of the facility has lots of construction, many of the amenities on the pictures from their website were not the same. There really is only 1 pool no water slide as pictured since it was under construction. The entire resort has a very strong swamp odor. Our connecting room door knob instantly fell off on the first day along with the lock on our door did not work and needed to be fully replaced. Customer service is terrible. Complained to front desk and they stated had to make a report. After several reports nothing ever happened. Hotel room AC did not work our first night. They then changed us to another room that the hot water did not work. One day the entire hotel did not have hot water. Need to have more dining options especially for breakfast. We were not members so we only had the buffet restaurant for 4 day stay. Outside of our patio smelled from the water . Disappointed in our stay here.
