It was just fine for an old hotel. Room size ok for 4 people that just needed a place to sleep for 8 nights. Good location in walkdistance to many attractions and several metros close by.
Front of hotel is rather unassuming -- if driving, you will probably miss it and have to circle the block. This is a hotel with no porter, so be prepared to hump your own luggage. Parking is valet only at $70/night, but after taxes and fess will be closer to $87. Only took 30 minutes to retrieve the car at checkout, which is very quick by NYC standards. Very comfortable clean bed & pillows .
The breakfast was good. Nice option with a waffle station. Parking was convenient with a valet to park your car. Parking was way too expensive though. Much more than other places I’ve stayed in NYC.

Basic, clean hotel. Perfect for families. We’ll stay again next time we are in NYC
The elevators were a bit of a challenge but overall the stay was great.
Great value, helpful and welcoming staff, and very clean.
