The hotel is old and needs a few repairs. The room was ok but for the pre I’ve paid we expected a little more, breakfast was disappointing, only a few items and they were not tasty at all. The staff was nice but I the issue I had after my check out really ruined the whole stay for me. I was double charged because the hotel makes an authorization charge just to have to amount blocked for security and then at the end of the stay, instead of using that amount, they just charge you again, and you have to wait 10 days to get the ... read more

I had good staff interactions, particularly with Jessie at Reception. Enjoyed the convenient location. I missed not having daily routine room cleaning

We come to town on Amtrak, and it arrives next to the hotel at Penn Station.

This hotel is conveniently close to the subway. The room we were in was clean, the beddings fresh and comfortable, the bathroom was clean. You would have to ask for toothbrush and toothpaste if you need them and the cleaners only came on certain days unless you request for a cleanup. The breakfast that came free was very adequate if boring after a few days. Convenient location. generally safe street. I would recommend this property.
