We stayed here 2019 for my husbands 30th, and then this week for my own 30th. Back then, they went to the trouble of getting him balloons and a Teddy to celebrate. I hadn’t even messaged, they just noticed in conversation it was his birthday. This time, my husband did drop them a message as he wanted to make sure I got the same - well, they got me a whole cake!! Like a proper cake, balloons, rose petals, even little pretend candles. Great staff
Aside from almost being bitten by a spider, our stay was great! Staff was friendly and accommodating, guest were also friendly, and the location (heart of NYC) was amazing. We could get anywhere, any day within a 3 minute walk to the train station.
Customer service and room cleaning Great location. Bathrooms could use an upgrade. Customer service could have been better. My daughter came down with a stomach bug and threw up in the room. We made numerous attempts to get our room deep cleaned. Not only for us and the smell but for the next guest that come in. The only thing that was done was spraying a cleaner. Yes the hotel is old however, my wife and I enjoyed the stay. Very convenient for everything we wanted to do! The customer service and front desk staff went over and beyond to help with our stay.
