For our girls trip this was perfect for the location and value.

We enjoyed our stay in NYC and at the Hampton South Manhattan location. Like other reviews, the rooms have very limited walking space, but that is to be expected in the NYC highrises. The elevator lines were long a few times, during peak times, but they moved fast and was not a problem; it just required practicing a little patience. We had some issues with housekeeping coming in when we had "do not disturb" door hanger up and walking in without warning at 5:30pm. The location of the Hampton Inn is excellent, facilities reasonable & staff helpful. Unfortunately there are a lot of homeless around this area, who are harmless, but may put a lot of people off.
