Beautiful older hotel with all the new amenities Pros: The architecture and location being water front Cons: None Location: Waterfront, A view to die for ----across the water to the Lighthouse. So Cape Cod! Beautiful room, large and linens very high end. Had table with bay window. Comfortable chairs. Staff were helpful when we asked for more coffee and cream---quick response. beautiful spot right in Edgartown Beautiful spot right on the water Porch is terrific as is the staff...only hitch is that we could hear the people above us...we stayed in the building behind the main building...breakfast was very good served by the water
Safe and sound. Location was great. Room and bed were comfortable. I should have told the staff: The television was set to the screen view so that the score of the football game was off the screen, something that can only be set with the original television set's remote, not the cable remote, so that was a little disappointing.
Top drawer affair all 'round, pip, pip! Very comfortable room in one of several "houses" that make up the property. Great location and the eponymous harbor view is authentic. Right by the water and close to several good restaurants. All round a fine spot for a brief getaway.

Great in the off season I went to Harbor View for a business trip, it was a great trip and a great rate for the off season. It was my first trip to the area. Upon arrival we were upgraded to rooms in the main building. Once in my room , which was awesome, I discovered dirty wet towels in items in the trash in the bathroom. I called front desk and they quickly sent someone up to assist with moving to another room. It was just a fluke, but the next room wasn't as nice, it was much smaller. Wonderful hotel Harbor View Hotel is a great hotel in a beautiful setting with spectacular view over the harbor and friendly staff. However, not all rooms offer the view; mine was in the annex in the back and had no view at all. Otherwise a very pleasant hotel.
