Best area of Martha's vineyard Pros: Staff were amazing Cons: Pool area Location: Best livatikn We loved the harbour view the hotel and staff were fantastic......Joanne on concerige was the best, so helpful and friendly. We stayed in the main hotel ....I think the rooms in the outer buildings are not quite as good. What more could you ask for Greatlace. Very relaxing and yet still nearby multitude of options for fun. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and goal seemed to make sure we had a great time. Loved rocking chairs with free coffe all day on torch. Some food options at the hotel and ability to walk to beach and town when you felt like it. So glad we went.

Very nice place with great location Pros: It was pretty, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very good. Location: Lots of great restaurants in Edgartown and nice shopping. We had a very nice visit here. Just wish the weather cooperated better!
Very nice hotel with beautiful views of lighthouse Pros: the location Cons: on expedia the room was advertised as pool view but it was actually a view of the shrubs in the side yard. The pool view would be more appealing Location: Edgartown, beautiful town, ride bikes on Chappaquidick , shop, visit the lighthouse. great hotel for Edgartown The Harbor View is a very nice hotel with gorgeous views of the Edgardtown Lighthouse. The "main" part of the hotel is beautiful and has been fully renovated. The large wrap-around porch is picturesque and very inviting. Guest feel comfortable lounging in the rocking chairs and the staff is very gracious and quick to offer a drink. Great hotel in a great location. Staff is friendly and helpful. Suite was ultra comfortable and clean.
Disappointing room near pool Pros: The porch and lobby are lovely. Our room near the pool felt like it was in a basement. It was dark, had ceilings so low I could Touch them with the palm of my hand (I am 5'7) and the most cramped bathroom I have ever been in at a hotel.
