My wedding at the Emerald Grande on the Captain’s Deck was the most amazing day of my life. All in all it was a convenient place to stay. 3rd floor smelled so bad!!! Some lightbulbs were burned out. No accommodations were offered because of the bad smell! Other kids and adults getting off elevator plugging their noise! I spoke with other staff and the agreed the smell was terrible!! They should NOT have carpet in hallways!!!
We got married at the Emerald Grande 10/10/2020 on the Captain's Deck and had our reception in the Harbor View room. The staff and facilities were absolutely stunning! Our wedding coordinator Emily was so easy to work with. She listened to all of our visions we had for our wedding and reception and make it come to life! She went above and beyond her duties! The room we stayed in was awesome. We had such a great little quick get-away. Unfortunately the Customer Service was terrible from the check-in process to needing batteries for the remote control to the TV and the Housekeeping Staff being rude (we had to call front desk twice)! Our view was impeccable. Unfortunately we were startled out of our sleep at 6:00 AM on Saturday morning to the sounds of hammering, sawing and other "construction" sounds below our room - that really sucked!!! Got married this past weekend on the Captain's Deck and the view was absolutely amazing ! Emily Buckley was our wedding coordinator and she's AMAZING ! She is a sweetheart and very professional. I literally did not have to worry about anything. She made sure everything came out perfect. Emily and her team made my photobooth look wayyy better than I had imagined. The food was absolutely delicious ! My guests are still talking about the menu. Overall, really liked the venue and the views.

My husband and I just got married on 11/7/20 at the Emerald Grande. It was the absolute best day EVER! It exceeded our expectations in every way. The Captains Deck is the perfect place to get married/have your reception. Emily Buckley is hands down the most amazing wedding coordinator of all time. I am not one to take the time to write reviews, however, I really want people to know that the Grande Vista restaurant is excellent! I have stayed at the Emerald Grande numerous times and never had a bad experience. What I learned on this trip is that there is no need to go anywhere else to eat which makes for a really enjoyable, leisure experience. We had a party of 4 and ate breakfast and dinner in the Grande Vista. Everyone enjoyed their meal! The crab cake on fried green tomato with crawfish sauce was amazing!
