visited for dinner and tour. Met with Linda Asait who was very helpful. Enjoyed the open atmosphere, food quality and choices, availability of physical therapy 5 days a week. Room spacious but have issues with kitchen space. Preferred master does not have walkin shower, other bedroom does.

We chose them because we needed a memory care place quickly and it is in a good neighborhood that is closer to our house. All of the staff are very cheerful and the maintenance guys are very helpful. However, we are unhappy with their process of assessing mom's "level of care" which adds $[removed] per month. The nurse who went to mom's condo to assess her did not wake her up for the assessment. Advice to anyone thinking about entering any Assisted Living Facility 1: If you can handle your own meds do not let them know your medications. There are laws which give them lots of control over the situation such as which pharmacy they use to acquire your meds unless you want to pay an extra fee to use your own pharmacy. My husband was in Harbour Pointe memory care for a total of 3 weeks, the first 2 weeks with 24hr care paid by me. He was supposed to be ok to be cared for by staff according to [name removed] (useless nurse) so I left him 1 week without private nursing and he fell, aspirated and lay on floor nobody knows how long. He lost his life due to this and the fact that he had pneumonia and the nurse [name removed] friend didn’t have enough experience to detect it. Avoid at all costs, there is no care being given or activities that happen in memory care. We picked this community because it was closer to my home.

[Date removed] I did move my mom into this place but after a week I am ready to move her out. They did not follow thru on their promises and their food is the worst I have ever had. My mom has been sick 3 times in a week.
