I have toured their community and met with their leadership team as a potential home for one of our clients. Their receptionist was extremely welcoming especially with not having an appointment. [name removed] gave me a thorough tour of their community and amenities. She even introduced me to their executive director [name removed] and director of wellness [name removed]. They all made time for me to ensure my client’s needs would be met.
Harmony Village is a top quality memory care community. The building always smells/looks clean and is warm, friendly, and aesthetically pleasing. The staff and management team are beyond supportive, dedicated, and knowledgeable when it comes to memory care. There is a lot of stimulation and activities taking place for your loved one. You feel welcomed from the moment you step foot through the doors.
The care & support staff embraced the Teepa Snow program, which was my primary goal in the selection process. Then the facility segregated the residents on different floors based on their cognitive and behavioral abilities. Next, the facility was meticulously clean, bright and functional. All the staff & administrators are trained, accessible and friendly to the residents & families. There are no visiting hours, it's "our home"!
It’s been an experience adjusting to the fact that my husband needed this care but I must tell you he adjusted immediately. Never asking to come home and enjoying the activities that are provided everyday. It made the adjustment very easy on myself and my children. The staff provide many activities for the residents and the families to enjoy Although some things on the house keeping side could be better. We as a family on a whole are satisfied with the help all of the staff afford us no matter what our concerns may be.
My mom was previously a resident at Harmony Village at CareOne At Hanover Township. I can't say enough about the professionalism, respect and care that the staff provided. The care that the staff provided my mom with was so good! I would recommend this facility to others.
All the staff members are so kind, and seem to really like what they are doing. They’re very patient with each of the residences. The social worker seems to listen to the family members. The nurses are good. The prices are okay.
All employees that work at Harmony Village first floor are very helpful and do their job well.
The staff is kind will follow directions that you give to help care for your family member. My mom seems happy. They have followed her dietary restrictions that we have in place. They do a great job keeping the residents safe For food - perhaps offering more choices. Also, offering dessert after every meal. My mom loves her sweets recently and they don't always have dessert. Beautiful facility, very clean but beware… they will get you in the door and then increase prices with no warning. This happened to us in less than a year rates increased by 25% “effective immediately”. Staff is fair some good some not so good. Management is a nightmare to deal with Administrator (who started [date removed]) is rude, and does not want to communicate with families or want to hear your concerns.
