We had a group of 6 ladies and we had a lovely time. The service was fantastic. Food was wonderful. I like the area with interesting shops nearby. Parked on the street and did not pay. Lovely evening.
My book club ate here for our annual Christmas dinner. A must have is the grilled caesar salad. Two of us had the crab cake appetizer special which was delicious, one had the salmon and two had the Springer Mountain Chicken. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. We were celebrating a birthday & thoroughly enjoyed the food, ambiance & service. We started with the potato hay & ordered the trout & tenderloin for our entrees. Everything was delicious & our server was top notch. We will definitely return.
My husband and I went there to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and it was wonderful, the food, the service, the ambiance! The owner and came to chat with us and made us feel really welcome since it was our first time there. They gave us a wonderful dessert as an anniversary gift and we were pleasantly surprised. This will be our regular to go place for couples dinner or with friends!
Gordon was attentive and knew exactly when to offer service and when to hang back. We live nearby and this is our go-to neighborhood spot. Feels like you are dining in someone's home. Outstanding fresh food, appropriate portions and the wine list has several nice offerings! AND did I mention the sweet potato donuts with Nutella and Hazelnut ice cream to share for dessert?!! Deliciousness:)
This is my new favorite place for brunch. Great steak and eggs.
Our party of four could barely hear one another or the waiter from the get go. While the food was very good the distraction of the noise and the inability to have a relaxed evening ruined the event. Some wall hangings etc. could deal with this issue.
We had a late movie (Hunger Games) and got to the restaurant at 10:00. Clearly the last arrivals. And our group ordered many items. In spite of clearly being the last folks in the place, we did not feel rushed. All our items were excellent and it was a great experience. I know the last folks in can sometimes get the short shrift, but not here. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Food and service justified a 20% tip.....very noisy....
