The fried oyster appetizer was amazing! I ordered the special, hanger steak, and that was also amazing! Everything was cooked perfectly.
We had a great meal at Haven--as always.
HOSTESS WAS VERY ATTENTIVE TO MY NEEDS, QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS. I HAVE SENT AN EMAIL TO THE RESTAURANT, BUT HAVE NOT RECEIVED A RESPONSE...DISAPPOINTED WITH THAT LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Haven was a wonderful choice for our special occasion. The food was interesting and we recommend the oyster appetizer and the beef filet with jalapeno butter over grits! Our party tried several different desserts and found them all to be very tasty. The service was impeccable and friendly. The restaurant was a little crowded and noisy, but it felt festive. The neighborhood was charming as well.
No fault of Haven that there was a rain storm during their booked patio party. We had a reservation inside and were taken straight to our table but the large, noisy crowd from the patio had to be brought inside because of the rain so the noise level was very high and the place was overcrowded. Again, no fault of the restaurant, but a bit disappointing for us since we were entertaining out-of-town guests. The portions were perfect. I would of liked the caeser salad chopped up inetead of the long leaves but excellent taste. Everything was very fresh. You must try it.

Father's Day Brunch was fabulous and the outdoor dining was perfect. What a gem, as always.
We dined inside --but were struck by the beautiful planters and equally inviting patio. We began with impressive French Martini's and appetizers. Seafood looked promising and indeed the kitchen proved to be superb with every element of our entrees. Icing on the cake was our very helpful server. This was our first visit and we have alredy planned a return visit.
