My mom lived there for about a year and a half in the assisted living portion. Lots of turn over in management and staff during that time. The staff was helpful, although many things were inexplicably difficult. They could provide medication, but would not administer eye drops. The food went from OK to bad, to downright inedible due to turn over in the kitchen. Show up for a regular meal, not a brunch for a true taste. This place is stunningly beautiful in a lovely residential neighborhood. It is small and intimate.

We toured this community and we liked the staff that was helpful to answer the questions. The community is clean and maintained. We liked the list of activities that would have been offered for her to be active. We needed something closer. We would recommend this community for the care for a loved one.

They did a good job providing a tour. It was not a bad experience. Nothing was wrong with the place but I wanted a smaller home and it seemed more larger than I wanted. They were professional, on time, and courteous.

This is a nice community for my parents, who live together on the memory care floor. The staff is nice and caring. The community is clean and they are happy with the atmosphere. There is no dietitian on staff and the menu is just ok. They have activities 2x per week on the memory floor. It would be great if there was something every day of the week to get them out of their room and more active. My parents are very well taken care of at this wonderful community. the staff is outstanding and are always concerned about there care. All of the meals that are offered and are excellent. I would highly recommend this community for others for outstanding care.

My cousin has adjusted very to this community. We are very pleased with everything they have done for us. I'am very impressed with how clean everything is. They do a very good job with maintaining the community. The staff has been very welcoming and helpful. Everything is going very well. I'am confident about the care she is receiving. It has been a good experience and I would recommend it.

I am pleasantly surprised with the services provided. The activities are varied with an emphasis on diverse exercise opportunities daily - even Sat and Sun. The facility has only one small elevator - a big inconvenience for diners on all 4 floors when the dining room is on the first floor. Residents are patient and have learned how to make this work, but at first look this is very upsetting. I am very pleased with Hawthorne Gardens Senior Living. The staff is stable, which is a really good indicator of the facility. I recently understood, that they have sold. So, I am hoping that her rate doesn't skyrocket. The staff are responsive to any requests that we have. She wanted to switch from dairy to almond milk and they were very accommodating to that.
