My husband and I were very excited to have our wedding here as it is beautiful in so many ways. However, a few days before our wedding, I got COVID and we had to cancel/reschedule. The venue would not refund us any money, which I think is sad and very disappointing as we spent so much money to have our special day and that situation was out of our control. Hayes hollow at hidden falls was the venue of my dreams. Although overpriced, I was willing to spend the $30k for bar, food and venue. Customer service was great up until the day of. It was like once they had the total amount of our money, we were nobodies to them. We paid almost $14,000 for this venue. Due to the pandemic raging around our sons wedding date, they were not able to go forward with the wedding. THE VENUE HAS KEPT ALL $14,000!! And we are not the only ones! Walters Wedding Estates is an unethical company taking advantage of this pandemic and basically stealing money!! A beautiful, TERRIBLY disappointing venue. DO NOT BOOK HERE. I would not wish our sad wedding planning/execution experience on anyone. We celebrated our day on 10/17/20 and we had a magical day thanks to our PRIVATELY hired vendors who actually care about their customers. This venue is BEAUTIFUL but had the worst possible staff! They NEVER answer the phone! Are horrible at responding to emails! When I would ask a question and a team member answered I would later find out that they’re wrong and the answer is completely different. I was constantly having to reach out to them and they were never helpful. Through out the process there was a bunch of hidden fees that they didn’t mention when booking. My son had this wedding at Hidden Falls on January 5, 2019. The coordinator was helpful and tried to keep the wedding on schedule. Venue was beautiful and the wedding had a flare of elegance. The bride and groom had their gifts on a table at the entrance of the venue and the ceremony was outside. This venue is G O R G E O U S! We picked this venue out on the coldest day of the year and still fell in love with it right away. We had a fall, morning wedding at the Hays Hollow venue and it was absolutely perfect. Despite the rain the night before, Kalyn, our day of coordinator, made sure all the seats and walk way were clean and dry and made our special day run so smoothly. DO NOT GET MARRIED HERE! This venue is part of a large corporation and that was reflected in every step of planning my wedding here. They make NO accommodations, NO exceptions of any kind no matter how reasonable you might think that request is. 2 stars because the venue is pretty. Similar sentiments to the review below mine. Dealing with this venue was the most stressful part of the wedding planning experience. Constant misinformation was given throughout the entire year leading up to my wedding, resulting in me having to pay for their mistakes.
