The day of coordinator Aniah was the best part of our stay. She made the rehearsal and day of run smoothly and efficiently. There were minor inconveniences here and there throughout the day, but she did her best to resolve them all in a timely manner. It did seem as though the groom's suite was forgotten about. My daughter's wedding was 10/27/23. Our end of night encounter with the General Manager, Lisa Hardwick ruined the evening and upset both groom/bride not to mention us and the entire wedding party!!!!!! We paid a lot of money for our daughter's wedding and to be treated this way was completely uncalled for and appalling! Ms. Hardwick accused the groomsmen of doing something they didn't do. The scenery and esthetics of this venue are amazing. Unfortunately, some of the staff tainted this experience for us. Specifically, Dustin, the Manager. He was NOT helpful, often rude to us and eventually unresponsive to our needs. Onyi, our day of Coordinator was truly an Angel. She saved the evening. My daughters wedding was on Saturday evening. I will preface this review by stating that the property and the facilities are beautiful. Aesthetically, this venue is perfect. The staff and management however are so terrible, that I would advise any bride that does not want to stress on her big day to stay away. We had our wedding in March 2023, things seemingly went smoothly other than the venue and our planning coordinator were very difficult to get a hold of. My husband and I were very excited to have our wedding here as it is beautiful in so many ways. However, a few days before our wedding, I got COVID and we had to cancel/reschedule. The venue would not refund us any money, which I think is sad and very disappointing as we spent so much money to have our special day and that situation was out of our control. Hayes hollow at hidden falls was the venue of my dreams. Although overpriced, I was willing to spend the $30k for bar, food and venue. Customer service was great up until the day of. It was like once they had the total amount of our money, we were nobodies to them. The day of our wedding no one was there to greet us, I was stressed and had to send my mother to find someone to serve our pre service mimosas and beer. We paid almost $14,000 for this venue. Due to the pandemic raging around our sons wedding date, they were not able to go forward with the wedding. THE VENUE HAS KEPT ALL $14,000!! And we are not the only ones! Walters Wedding Estates is an unethical company taking advantage of this pandemic and basically stealing money!! A beautiful, TERRIBLY disappointing venue. DO NOT BOOK HERE. I would not wish our sad wedding planning/execution experience on anyone. This venue is BEAUTIFUL but had the worst possible staff! They NEVER answer the phone! Are horrible at responding to emails! When I would ask a question and a team member answered I would later find out that they’re wrong and the answer is completely different.
