A beautiful, TERRIBLY disappointing venue. DO NOT BOOK HERE. I would not wish our sad wedding planning/execution experience on anyone. We celebrated our day on 10/17/20 and we had a magical day thanks to our PRIVATELY hired vendors who actually care about their customers. This venue is BEAUTIFUL but had the worst possible staff! They NEVER answer the phone! Are horrible at responding to emails! When I would ask a question and a team member answered I would later find out that they’re wrong and the answer is completely different. I was constantly having to reach out to them and they were never helpful. Through out the process there was a bunch of hidden fees that they didn’t mention when booking. My son had this wedding at Hidden Falls on January 5, 2019. The coordinator was helpful and tried to keep the wedding on schedule. Venue was beautiful and the wedding had a flare of elegance. The bride and groom had their gifts on a table at the entrance of the venue and the ceremony was outside. What the bride and groom didn’t realize was that some of their gift was stolen and some of guest personal identity was stolen. This venue is G O R G E O U S! We picked this venue out on the coldest day of the year and still fell in love with it right away. We had a fall, morning wedding at the Hays Hollow venue and it was absolutely perfect. Despite the rain the night before, Kalyn, our day of coordinator, made sure all the seats and walk way were clean and dry and made our special day run so smoothly. DO NOT GET MARRIED HERE! This venue is part of a large corporation and that was reflected in every step of planning my wedding here. They make NO accommodations, NO exceptions of any kind no matter how reasonable you might think that request is. When you are choosing to give a company upwards of $15,000 of your hard earned money to have your wedding, on a Thursday mind you, one would think they would at least try to make it seem like they cared at all about your vision. 2 stars because the venue is pretty. Similar sentiments to the review below mine. Dealing with this venue was the most stressful part of the wedding planning experience. Constant misinformation was given throughout the entire year leading up to my wedding, resulting in me having to pay for their mistakes. I would ask multiple people there the same question and literally every person would give me a different answer. Hidden Falls is beautiful! I will 100% stand by that exclamation, but that is where my positive review of this venue will end. Please read all of this before you consider booking with them. I booked the venue a year and a half before our date, when Hidden Falls was under different management and was The Lodge at Bridal Veil Falls. While the venue was nice, Connie our day of Lodge coordinator was not only unaccommodating but also extremely rude and did not deliver on what we had paid for. The venue coordinators shorted us two tables than what we had asked for, which caused so much stress and running around given that we had set table arrangements. They did nothing to compensate this or fix the situation even though there was enough time to set up two more tables really quickly. We had our wedding on 1-08-2016. Do not get me wrong, the venue itself is gorgeous! The waterfall was one of the main reasons I chose this place, it took my breath away the first time I saw it. But the minute we signed our contract, it just went downhill from there. They seriously nickel and dime you for everything, so make sure you read WORD FOR WORD on your contract.
