I have stayed at a Tru by Hilton in Ocala Fl. a couple of times, very similar hotels and the room quality is very good. I was very comfortable making a reservation there.

This hotel is great! The rooms are very nice but you have to request a microwave as they are not in the rooms. The fitness center was ok as they had dumbbell weights and 2 treadmills, an elliptical, and a recumbent bike. They have a hot breakfast with real plates and real silverware. The staff was great and took care of all my needs. The only thing I wish they would have would be a drip coffee for the evening.

The beds were low. No complimentary coffee. We couldn’t adjust the temperature in our room & it was freezing. I called down to the front desk & inquired about it & she said ‘engineering has to adjust it’…say what? I just expected way better since we were at the Hilton, but I was disappointed.

My stay was wonderful, the staff was friendly and took immediate action when my tv remote was not working properly. My room was clean, the bed very comfortable and the sheets were wonderful. I will stay at Tru by Hilton when I can.

Breakfast was like many, not worth making a reservation because of breakfast. Half cooked pancakes, powdered formed eggs (I think that is what they were), beacon so thin you can hardly tell its beacon. Need to research and raise it a level. These type hotels need to take a lesson from Drury Inn where they serve real food with a host that makes sure you have what you need and keeps the tables clean. Beds seem soft but after you lay there a while it really does not have any support. Not a good nights sleep!
