I was sitting in the waiting room and a nurse I didn’t recognize came out and called my first name. I stood up and the receptionist asked her which one she wanted because two people had that name in the waiting room. The nurse that called my name announced “not the colpo”. Which is what I was there for. I really didn’t appreciate her announcing the procedure I was there for and THERE IS ZERO EXCUSE FOR THIS. I was already having anxiety about my procedure and this made it 10x worse. Do better.

Well I was there from 2:40 to 4:30 pm before the Dr even seen me. I went in bc I'm 5 days late, every test I've taken has been negative. I told them I've never had an exam no pap nothing. Doc finally comes in with no papers nothing. Started by saying so your iud is where it's supposed to be...I interrupted him and said I don't have that and he says oh your the one without periods. I was like no I have them I'm just late. He starts talking about how some times they can be like 2 months late. We can do a blood test that will g... read more

We had three visits for my daughter. She has a cyst on her ovary. I Tried giving the benefit of the doubt. Felt very much like they didn’t have a clue why we were there even though we were referred to them by our family doctor. Seen the same mid wife each time and felt like we were seeing a different one due to her lack of knowledge on what my daughter was being seen for felt no compassion from her at all for her situation. I've had experience with other providers here that were more on the positive side, but myost recent experience was traumatizing. I was seen by Dr. Bishop, to get an exam/procedure done. During this visit, he did not speak to me, or explain the process, or alert me of what he was doing before or during the procedure. Previous experiences I've had with other doctors, they would forewarn me before doing anything to my bits. Not Dr Bishop. Everyone was so nice. The location could be better. All the different food smells from all the restaurants is terrible when all it does is make you vomit. Not delivering at our local hospitals is a big deal for me. It’s crazy not delivering any closer. With that being said I love love love the staff.

Horrible experience, I have been contracting for two days and was sent home without my cervix or anything being checked and in pain. Do not recommend and will not be coming back to Carbondale for anything.
