I have used Heartwood Tree Care two years in a row. Last year, there was an unfortunate accident where the man suspended next to the last large section of a tree slipped. When the section was sliced through, it fell into the house. Howard (the owner), had left to go to another site shortly before because all the branches that were hovering over the house had been taken care of. Heartwood did a great job cutting down my damaged Palo Verde tree. I requested that they also grind the root and try to make the result flush with the ground, and covered with the adjacent gravel. When completed, the area looked like a tree never existed and the entire work area was cleaned up. They arrived on time, and finished promptly and did an excellent job. I have used other tree companies, but none was as professional, courteous and clean as these guys, I will definitely use them in the future.

Heartwood Tree Care really does a great job. We have 11 huge desert trees and Walter and his crew really took the time to thin out the growth and raise the canopies properly. They also cleaned up thoroughly, not a single branch was left behind. I will definitely use them again next year.
Excellent work! The Arborist who came out to estimate and spec the work did a great job, and the crew followed specs perfectly. We had 2 very large trees pruned and they have never been done so well before. The crew performed quality tree work, proper pruning, meticulous clean-up, and worked safely throughout the job. Very impressed, very professional company.
Communication issues and scheduling problems, but the work, when finally done, was excellent. The job was under estimated by the initial arborist, but they honored their quote. Would use them again, hoping that the communication will be better next time.
