Fun casual joint with a Louisiana flair. Authentic Cajun with a year round Marti gras atmosphere! My favorite was the gumbo! My husband's favorite was the alligator bites!! Servers are friendly. Place is a bit loud inside but that's to be expected.
Everything about Henry's is great. The food is so good it almost brings a tear to my eye every time I take my first bite. The atmosphere is a lot of fun, especially when chef Henry is walking around throwing beads on everyone (I've never seen him miss). The service is always great as well. If you live anywhere in the ATL area, do yourself a favor and make a reservation today!
Every time I travel to visit my father here in Georgia we always make the 45 minute trip out to Henry's. Phenomenal food, attentive service, and seeing Henry there from time to time is the cherry on top. He was there tonight! Legend. Absolutely I recommend this place you can't go wrong with anything you pick but the oooh la la and bread pudding must be tried.
We wanted to grab lunch here for Fat Tuesday. I made reservations for 2:00 pm and we arrived at that time. The restaurant was buzzing with diners but we were seated upon arrival. Chef Henry greeted us at the door and slung some beads around my neck. He complimented my better half on her Mardi Gras themed top and leggings. Met an old friend here for lunch. Was a regular a few years ago but had not been for several years. As in the past was greeted by friendly staff and seated quickly. The waitress was knowledgeable and efficient. The food, as in the past, was excellent. Ended up ordering a take home meal for my wife.
Great food and it is always on point. The owner walks around and throws beads. There is a upper floor and you can see around town.
Love the food, the wait is bad, even if you book. Sitting at the bar was fun but a bit tight.
Henry's as usual was outstanding! Every time I go, it's a little wait bit worth it. Food is phenomenally appetizing and plated beautifully! The owner is always attentive to his guests, and ensuring southern hospitality at its finest! Atmosphere is popping and full of life! A Great place for the family or a drink.
So the food here was AMAZING! I had the chicken oh la la and it was wonderful. I made a reservation for my fathers birthday and January 11th as they strongly suggested to make an online reservation so I did. Under special occasions I mentioned it was my Fathers birthday... no one acknowledged it was his birthday. What's the point of asking about a special occasion if it's not acknowledged.
