We chose this location because of the convenient location for our family. When we went to visit we were very pleased. The staff is really friendly and seems to know everyone. It has a more of an apartment community feeling rather then an institution. There is no odor and doesn't smell like an elderly home care center. They have lots of activities and a good variety to keep those that wish to participate busy. We are very pleased with Heritage Monoma.
We visited Heritage Manola when we were looking for communities, we were very happy with this community and everything it offers. The only draw back is that they did not have immediate availability. We needed to move in right away so we had to choose a different community but this would have been a great choice too. They offer independent, assisted, and skilled nursing areas. Spent time with Betty on parent's needs and tour of floor they would be on.Each care type is segregated. Enhanced AL 28 apts, memory care 40 and 38, assisted 37, independent senior 88. One room available is 600 sq feet with balcony and view of Owen drive, post office and local restaurant.Each room has own air con and own thermostat. Furniture of a bed, chest and nightstand that matches the facility theme of a Frank Lloyd Wright theme. Very nice place I think they said both could stay in the memory care area but I think they were trying to convince us another facility would be better.
I liked the location (short commute from Sun Prairie where I live). Facility is gorgeous. I liked the layout of the memory unit. Rooms were nice. Activity schedule looked good.

I did tour this place and it's beautiful and I do know some people who have loved ones here but I have some concerns because we know of one person who had to remove her mother from here because of some sort of incident. I also believe that the contact person was not completely honest with me regarding my questions about the incident and was only concerned with getting a name.
