Do not come here, they steal your money! I went this past Friday for a Mavericks game to enjoy the environment and I left with $120 stolen. After a long wait of 30 minutes, I finally ordered a drink at the bar. The beer was priced $9.20 and I get notifications that my card was charged an additional two times for a total of $70 and another $40 charge. The food was amazing and the drinks tasted to good. I really wanted to continue trying everything on the menu however I was so full. The chips and salsa are also great. Make sure you check this place out when you are in the city!
This is the coolest place! Atmosphere is awesome and tons of space, tables and things to look at. Great location next to a parking garage just across the street! It was a very quick walk. The food was amazing! Kiddos got chicken strips and ate the whole plate. I had the wedge salad with grilled chicken. Greatest grilled chicken ever. Tender and flavorful! Oh, Hero is a SPOT. Perfect for brunches or those post-hangover meals, Hero had these incredible carafes of mimosas that absolutely hit the spot. My friends and I split it three ways, I think I paid $18, and I had over 7 mimosas. Definitely a vibe. Also, I don't remember what I ordered, but it wasn't aesthetic at all so I didn't take a picture, but it was definitely good. They do have vegan/plant-based alternatives so you can take all of your friends to this spot :)
We stopped at Hero's before our Mavs game to have a couple shareable appetizers. The atmosphere was nice but that was it. The food came out not even five minutes after we ordered. Which meant the Food was not fresh at all. The fries came out cold and stale. The nachos had no flavor to them. The drinks weren't anything special. We didn't finish them which is a first. They were extra frozen and it was really hard to drink.. This is not somewhere we will be going back to anytime soon
Overall it was an awesome experience! It's such a vibe. The food was decent. I liked the grits and the waffle was good too. I ordered sides of everything and was shocked to see 1/4 of a waffle (just a heads up). I'll definitely return when I visit Dallas again.

Back home from Oakland for my baby brother's graduation, I was looking to be served by a Hero. With so many Dallas restaurants and lounges having the name "hero," I felt like this place, with its fly interior decor and friendly servers (shout-outs to Felis & Tomae), could save the day. Who said heroes had to be solely in the business of crime-fighting?
