Hero used to have a much larger menu but now it's so limited you may have trouble finding something you want to eat. The $15 burger and fries was an $8 burger at best and then it was quite lacking. You might as well get a burger inside American Airlines Center for the quality of this burger.
My friend had a bday brunch here and I didn't eat but definitely wanted to come back and try. SO glad I did! This bacon cheese burger was everything and more! So juicy and the sauce yum! I can't wait to go back! The manager comped our meal as a good deed which made my friend love the place. I love the ambiance and the food is definitely delicious. I will always make a point to eat at Hero whenever I'm in the area! They definitely have a supporter!
I have never been treated so poorly at a catered event. We were kicked out at 10:30pm to wait in the cold. We had so much food left and they did not pack any of it up for us. They just took the food away and didn't say anything. I am so disappointed in this location. Will never return for a social event.
Watched the Super Bowl here! Got to Hero around 5pm and put ourselves on the waitlist for a table. We were told the back area was open seating and first come, first serve. It was packed, but we found an open table. Great spot for watching the Super Bowl, huge screens and a fun crowd. I went to hero for brunch with friends and I got the chorizo gravy skillet. We split the mega-mosa which was delicious and affordable one split amongst friends. The food was good a little pricey for the portions you receive. The Super Bowl nachos were really good! This restaurant is right next to American Airlines and is definitely a sports bar but also good for brunch. There's a parking garage nearby and they validate parking.
I went to Hero yesterday for brunch with my girlfriends for Galentines! We loved the atmosphere--very open and buzzing. I ordered the chicken sandwich with tater tots and my friend ordered the omelet. We got 2 towers of mimosas--delicious. Overall, the food was good but nothing out of this world. The mimosas; however, were refreshing and tasty. I would say solid place to eat, drink and hangout!
Don't go here unless you want to get yelled at multiple times for standing near a table
TVs are small and not enough to go around. Drinks were expensive, even on a day with no events at American Airlines. 20% gratuity is STANDARD. Even though service was far below that.
I've been on here on 2 separate occasions and the food is okay, but the service and atmosphere are great. The first time a came here was on Sunday in May for brunch to celebrate a friends birthday. To drink we ordered a mimosa tower to split between 6 people and there was enough for all of us to have 2-3 mimosas.
