The nachos were not that good. The little cheese it had did not have flavor. They charge you extra for chicken. $20 for nachos, not worth it at all. The margarita tasted so gross! I don't like drinking so I choose the best drink I can find on the menu the few times I do, I was disappointed. It tasted it rubbing alcohol. My mom ordered chicken tenders and they were disgusting, she said it has a sweet flavor. We will not be back.
Service was awful! Don't recommend coming to work if you "have a toothache" or just aren't a people person. I Was here for an hour and never even got a water the waiter was short with us and just not nice. Once we got the manager and addressed the situation the waiter came up to us and asked us if we needed to talk to the manager again.... And not to mention the food was not good. The steak fajitas were really salty and gross. If you ever get a waiter with red dreads good luck I'd just ask for someone else.
Best shrimp and grits I've ever had in my life !!!! The grits was smoooooth like mashed potato's and the shrimp was flavorful. That plus our strawberry pineapple flavored mimosa tower was enough to give them this 5-star rating!
The place was cool-ish but pretty empty for a Friday evening. Food was decent, basic stuff. $13 drinks in plastic cups at dinner in Victory Park... a let down. They brought us our food (one order was wrong and they were very rude) and then just 15 minutes later they brought us another table's whole order LOL - as if we didn't just get ours from the same person. They were rude about that too!!! Staff has no idea what they are doing. Won't return but worth going once!
Coming from Michigan, I was so excited to grab brunch at Hero, Dallas. Our table arrived & everything was as normal. Just about 15 minutes later, after our drinks arrived the manager of the establishment approached my friend abruptly & assertively - asking him to leave for absolutely no reason; reasons being taken from her personal life into this establishment. As an individual, who has years of experience in hospitality & the F&B industry. This was one of the most unprofessional & uncalled for experiences i've ever encounte... read more
Menu is average at best, kinda a 6 flags concession stand feel, and my server was literally wearing a sports bra and was sooooo rude
I have visited Hero twice. Obviously, the first was good enough to bring me back. The atmosphere is amazing, staff is knowledgeable and the drinks and food are great. This last time, was incredibly memorable. Watson, Mikayla, Jazelle, and Colin were as hospitable and kind as anyone could ever ask. I hope to encounter each of them when I return!!!
Great food and beer however the bathrooms are always out of paper towels both men and women's.
Had a great time at the HERO. Good drinks. Nachos were good. Great service and ambiance. Location is great too
