A great basic hotel convenient to everything. Subway very close. Hotel is clean and comfortable - rooms aren’t huge and no extras, but perfect when you’re out and about all day exploring the city and just need a comfy place to recharge.
We thought it was a clean and safe hotel in the middle of Manhattan. The subway station was conveniently around the corner and there were restaurants that opened late right down from the hotel . I would definitely stay here again and do recommend this place. The room was pretty roomy considering it’s New York , the room was also clean and the air conditioner worked really good .
Pre-Arrival Inspection of Room was not properly done. We arrived at 9pm and we need lights in the room. The 2 bed side lamps were not working. I called reception for maintenance to check but No one from Maintenence/Housekeeping is available. Have to wait the next day. I did it myself. I traced the power cable and checked. It was connected to power bar under the bed which was turned off. Even this is simple fix but I was so tired for 9hours drive from Toronto and this is the one I will end up to. Very disappointed. Nice quiet hotel. Great position.
Easy walk to Time Square and Central Park. Rooms are a little dated. Great add was the balcony though overlooking the city. No one at loading area to know where to park/valet.
