Very good stay Simple but clean and quiet hotel, in a safe neighborhood, at walking distance of many points of interest, and subway is just around the corner anyway. We stayed in a 2 queen beds room with floor to ceiling window, with a nice view of Turtle Bay buildings. Comfy space in the room, especially according to NYC standards. Microwave oven, fridge and coffee machine. Ventilation system is a bit noisy, but maybe it was because we are close to the roof of the building. No noise from the street or from other rooms. Great location. We didn't eat here and at our request our room was not serviced during our stay so cannot comment on these. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean, paid parking was just around the corner which was fine too. Having said all this, my one complaint, which I will be following up with Hilton on was the pushy timeshare salesperson we encountered during a telephone call to the hotel. It was a perfect location to take the train to grand central and then walk to the hotel. We were allowed to check in early and were given a room with a city view. The staff let us leave our bags the next day so we didn’t have to lug them around on our college tours. It was a really nice location- easy walk to Central Park and to subway entrances. Very safe. Clean room. My only complaint is that the room showed some wear and tear on the furniture finishes and there were no extra blankets in the room and we could have used an ... read more
3 nights Rooms are comfortable and clean, if you need anything the front desk is helpful. Elevators are slow around check in time. This was a nice quiet place to stay. Good location and I would stay again.
