Silent, dependable, efficent - WiFi is a apin to set up initially - but that's it. Set up is a pain in the butt. You will need to connect it to your PC/Mac with a cable, download the set-up and get it connected to your WiFi. Then, unplug it, set it wherever you like, plug it back in - and it's dependable, fast, silent, efficient and robust as any printer you could ever want. Great buy I’m very happy with my purchase. I ordered a used unit from Amazon Warehouse. Although the description read “large cosmetic scratches”, the printer came in almost perfect cosmetic condition with a toner cartridge! The packaging was very secure too. So far, the printer is working properly over WiFi and meets my small office needs. I highly recommend this printer.
Monochrome is NOT a dirty word! I love this printer!! Fast & much quieter than I was expecting. It required no tech skills to set up, in fact it virtually set it self up. The price is right, it’s compact and has all the features I need. The best thing: I’ll never purchase colored ink again! Excellent purchase. I wish I’d made the switch years ago. Very easy to set up and it is Wi-Fi So my first printer like this started to act up on me by saying that the paper was out every time I try to print but there was plenty of paper in there. That has been the only problem that I have had with this printer, I recently got this one and have had no issues with it. I love the fact that it is Wi-Fi because I print from my phone all of the time . Makes my boutique business a breeze Owning a clothing boutique and regularily needing to ship out products, this has been such a helpful gem. My labels are printed speedy fast. The printer makes little to no noise. I am very happy with my purchase.
Hard wire and Wi-Fi setups work well. After reading many of Amazon1 star rating I was convinced I would have to rely on the USB cable connection to our main computer. To my surprise I found that setting up the Wi-Fi was not that hard. The only difficulty was understanding how to enter the network password on the printer. The instructions could have been a little clearer. I am now able to print through WI-Fi on my second computer and android phone.
Great replacement for a nine year old similar model My nine year old Brother B&W laser printer basically got to a point where it needed a new drum, which was at least 50% the cost of just getting an all new printer, so I ordered this one. Print quality is excellent, it came with a basic toner cartridge that should last me through the new year at least, and it pretty much works the same. Easy to operate. Brother laser printers are great!
Great Printer The printer itself is great, but I find that using it with AirPint has some very limited features. Using it with a laptop or pc has great features. The only problems are with iOS devices.
